Academic Scholarships recognise students with exceptional academic ability and a passion for inquiry and innovation. Applicants are awarded on the basis of proven academic achievement as shown in school reports, supporting documentation and external assessments. Additionally, there will be a focus on skills such as creativity, collaboration, and other future-focused capabilities. These scholarships are an opportunity for students who seek to challenge themselves and grow in a dynamic learning environment.
Our Access Scholarships are designed for students who will embrace everything St Columba has to offer — thriving both academically and personally while making a meaningful contribution to school life. While we take financial circumstances into account, scholarships are awarded based on a range of factors. These might include personal achievements, academic curiosity, involvement in the local community, or the challenges a student has overcome. We’re looking for students who are excited to grow, learn, and become part of our vibrant school community.
Arts Scholarships in Dance, Music, and Drama are open to students with exceptional artistic and performance talent. Scholarships are awarded based on a combination of audition performance, interview, and academic achievement. This provides an opportunity for students to demonstrate their passion and skill in their chosen art form.
The Foundation Scholarship aims to provide exceptional educational opportunities for deserving students entering Year 11. This scholarship seeks to ensure that high-quality education is accessible to all, regardless of financial circumstances. Supported by the St Columba Anglican School Foundation, the scholarship covers full tuition and provides additional assistance to help students thrive. Applicants will participate in a comprehensive selection process that includes demonstrating financial need, undergoing an academic assessment, participating in a personal interview, and showcasing their community involvement and leadership potential.
The Kindergarten to Year 12 Indigenous Scholarship Fund is focused on empowering Indigenous children to build a future through quality education and career pathways. The Scholarship is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students whose family circumstances would otherwise preclude them from attending St Columba on a full-fee-paying basis. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of: Proof of Indigenous background, level of family and community support, ability to gain from the School’s educational, cultural and sporting programs, and potential for a positive contribution to the life of the School.
